As an issue of collective interest emerges, you can develop a concept map to show the terrain you want to study. Typically concept maps are drawn with labeled circles or boxes and arrows or lines showing the relationships between them. |

Use this tool to generate ideas about what you already know, what you think is happening, and/or your working theory about the situation. A concept map will help make visible your current thinking about the key areas of influence in the specific situation and the relationships among them. |
