Jessica Germain

Jessica Germain has served as a consultant for InSites since 2005.  She has worked on data collection and analysis in InSites’ evaluation of educational programs.

Mrs. Germain holds a B.A. in English from Grinnell College in Iowa.  She also earned an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts, where she is currently certified to teach elementary grades one through six.

Mrs. Germain began her professional career as an elementary school teacher in Chicago at the Providence St. Mel School, which has been featured on Oprah Winfrey for its work with inner-city students.  Prior to her work at InSites, she was teaching fourth grade in Pembroke, Massachusetts.  In Pembroke, Mrs. Germain was a prominent staff member, working as a leader in professional development.  She has trained teachers in many fields, which include science, social studies, technology, and student-led research.  Study abroad in Greece and China has also allowed Mrs. Germain to bring dynamic knowledge of ancient cultures into the classroom.
