Susan Maunders

Susan Maunders has been a developer of educational media products for over 20 years. Ms. Maunders has written or produced over 200 multimedia titles. Her training was originally as both an Instructional Designer and a Multimedia Producer and has now expanded to educational media research as she is working toward her Ph.D. in Education at the University of Colorado. She is the former Vice President of e-Learning for Wilson Learning Worldwide, and is currently the President of Interactive Masters, a consulting firm that helps companies achieve their educational goals using online learning and other forms of new media.

Ms. Maunders has spoken to groups ranging from parents to corporate leaders on various facets of the future of educational media, strategic issues for corporations and universities, and how children will learn in the 21st century.

She has judged, often at the Senior or Finalist Judge level, many educational media competitions such as the Apple Awards, the New Media Invision Awards and Brandon Hall’s Excellence in e-Learning Awards. She has also won numerous awards for her designs of educational media.

Ms. Maunders played a key role in the development of the InSites online learning modules about Communities of Learning, Inquiry, and Practice (CLIPs) funded through a National Science Foundation grant to InSites.
