Deborah Trujillo-Watson

After working in the corporate world for various research and evaluation companies, Research and Evaluation Associates for Latinos (REAL) co-founder Dr. Deborah Trujillo-Watson recognized the need to provide a more customized and culturally relevant approach to organizations and agencies serving communities of color. Deborah is a first generation Latina graduate.

Dr. Watson holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology from Colorado State University and specializes in research design and quantitative analyses.

Deborah serves as an external evaluator for InSites’ NSF funded project entitled “Building Evaluation Capacity of Faculty and Institutions through Communities of Learning and Integrated Practice (CLIPs) at Community Colleges.” The project itself is an evaluative research study of CLIPs with InSites staff conducting the study and providing technical assistance to the faculty and administrators in the study. InSites staff are often in a participant-observer role in the work.
