What are the Phases of a CLIP Inquiry?

Members develop questions that guide their inquiry. After gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data, they use their discoveries to bring about changes in teaching and learning practices as well as support services and administrative practices addressed by the inquiry.

The phases of the inquiry are:

Phase 1. Design an inquiry focused on questions that are important to the CLIP members.

Phase 2.  Gather data.

Phase 3.  Make meaning from data (through analysis and interpretation) and use CLIP discoveries to shape practice.

Each of these phases is addressed in more detail in
Modules 3, 4, and 5 respectively.
